This is an exquisite Lladro "Girl Gathering Flowers" vintage statue sculpture. It was first introduced in 1971 and retired in 1993. Item number is 1172. It was designed by Vicente Martinez. This stunning piece is of a child who is on her knees gathering flowers. The young girl has a sublime face with brown long hair that's in a ponytail. She has on a polka dot beige skirt, white and blue blouse. She has a tied up white scarf around her neck. She seems happy gathering beautiful flowers from the ground. She has a bouquet of flowers in her left hand. It's truly a masterpiece in mint condition. It was created in Spain and is a hand painted with Lladro unique pastel colors. It is made with a glazed finish. It measures 8 1/4" high 5" wide. It's in excellent condition no chips or cracks. Last known original retail price is $475. No original box.
