This Mary Hadley hand painted and signed bean pot or soup tureen is in excellent condition! Could also be used as a cookie jar or pitcher. It shows a whimsical cow on one side and an adorable pig with heavy eyelashes on the other. Inside on lid and under the pot are signed. In the inside of the pot at the bottow it says The End. I’m not sure if that means the beans are all gone or what, but I thought it was cute! The pot and lid are in very good shape, especially for the age. There are some lines in the glaze on the handle but it’s glaze only. Doesn’t go through. One small nick next to the bird as shown in photo. One small nick on edge near lid as shown in photo. Very heavy. Approximately 8 inches tall. Will be bubble wrapped and double boxed for shipping.
